Haters gunna hate ...

I feel like when you embark on a challenge you tend to find out who supports you and who doesn't. There are some people who voice their opinions based on how THEY would handle it and thus forget to tell YOU whether they believe in you or not. Then there are some people who voice their opinions and dagnabit: they're right, whether they've researched it or not. Then there are the people who support you and get what you're doing and WHY you're doing it.

After doing this for an entire week now I have to say this: I'm not starving myself. I eat. I just eat things like fruits, almonds, eggs, bacon, muffins, etc. I'm not perfect at it and I doubt that I will ever be full on paleo. But during the week, I definitely follow to the best of my ability the paleo plan. I paid all of $10.00 for a meal plan from them. I am not taking additional supplements because the point of the paleo diet is that we don't need anything other than what the earth gives us. The cavemen did not take supplements for their kidneys or their brain.

I have woken up more energized and I have noticed in my workouts that I'm not getting side cramps and I'm not sweating profusely. I'm getting what I want from it, which is a slimmer waist and a challenge.

In the words of Bethenny Frankel: To those of you that are being supportive: thank you. To those of you who are judging: I totally get it.

Thank you and I totally get it.

yours truly,
dauphin gal
